What is the cost?

Our services include BCG and other travel vaccines for children.

​​​​​BCG Vaccination 

• Includes assessment and administration of BCG vaccine

• Assessment for other travel vaccines

• The out of pocket cost (gap) is $148. 

• The total fee is $296, a $148 Medicare refund applies with a referral

Travel Vaccination Assessment 

• Covers assessment for vaccines like Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis or Measles Mumps Rubella.​​

• The out of pocket cost (gap) is $50 + vaccine cost(s).

• Total fee is $198, a $148 Medicare refund applies with a referral.​​

Family Travel Vaccination Assessment

• Ideal for siblings or parents traveling with their children.

• Includes consultation and administration of the BCG vaccine.

• Covers assessment for travel vaccines such as Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, and MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella).

• Each family member must provide a referral letter.

• Cost: $148 per family (out-of-pocket fee), with all family members bulk billed.

• Note: Vaccine costs are additional.

What is the deposit?

There is a non-refundable deposit of $50 for the appointment.  Date changes can be made through the booking portal up to 48hrs prior to the appointment. If your child is unwell within 48hrs of the appointment please contact us at hello@kidsdoc.au

Siblings Bookings?
Additional siblings who need a BCG or other vaccines can attend the same appointment.  They need a separate referral.  ​

How can I pay?

We prefer credit card payment.  Please register your preferred payment method in our secure online portal or bring your payment card to the appointment.  Exact cash is accepted.  Medicare rebates will be submitted on the same day.

What if I don't have Medicare?

We accept patients who do not have Medicare.  A receipt containing details of services and fees paid will be provided to you after your appointment for you to submit to your insurance provider.
